The School of Engineering of the University of Pennsylvania is offering Undergraduate students summer research opportunities, through it NSF REU Program: SUNFEST.

Summer Undergraduate Fellowships in Sensor Technologies
May 30, 2015 – August 8, 2015
Application Deadline February 23, 2015

Stipend – $4850.00

Topics Include:

• Micro and Nano Electromechanical Structures
• Nanotechnology and materials for Sensors
• Robotics and Control oriented projects
• Wireless Sensor Networks
• Sensors for Medical and Biomedical Applications
• Optical and Vision Sensors

Program Highlights:

1. Summer research experience with a stipend of $4,850
2. Partial Subsidized Housing on Campus & Partial Travel Support
3. Opportunity to work on an interesting interdisciplinary topic
4. Work under the mentorship of a faculty member and a graduate student
