REU SITE: Immersive Research in the Bioarchaeology of Greek colonization, Sicily, Italy
This National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates Site provides eight competitively-selected undergraduate students from across the country with housing, meals, travel to Sicily for four weeks, apprenticeship at University of Georgia labs for four weeks, and $500/week stipends. During the eight-week program, students investigate the impacts of culture contact while planning and executing independent bioarchaeology research projects. Historically underserved students are encouraged to apply.
