Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program in Chemistry | University of Kansas



The National Science Foundation will fund ten (10) undergraduate students who have not completed at least their freshman year in college but have not yet graduated. REU researchers will gain hands on experience in a collaborative atmosphere, engage in cutting edge research on a project of your choice, take advantage of a career enhancement program addressing career opportunities & challenges in emerging interdisciplinary field of green chemistry.


  • Starts – May 22nd
  • Ends – July 28th
  • Deadline – March 3rd

Participants will receive a $5,000 stipend, housing and a meal plan for 10 weeks, as well as a travel allowance!
